What this site knows about you, in plain language.
Short version: your email address if you give it, and a count of page visits with no names attached. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared. Here is the long version, which is still short.
Who is responsible
Nelson Sequeira, publishing as The Sequeira Library, based in the United Arab Emirates. For anything on this page, email [email protected].
What is collected, and why
Your email address, only if you type it into a form on this site. It is used to send you Vol. 0, the reading order you asked for if you took the quiz, and one email a week (occasionally two) with a cited idea and new releases. That is the whole list of uses.
Where the signup came from. If you arrived from a link that carries a source tag (a Pinterest pin, an Instagram post), that tag is stored next to your address so I can tell which posts are worth making more of. If you took the quiz, the codes of the titles it recommended are stored too, so the email can contain your actual shelf. Your quiz answers themselves are not sent anywhere — they stay in your browser.
Anonymous visit counts. This site records that a page was viewed, that the quiz was started or finished, that a form was submitted, and that a store link was clicked — with the page, the screen size, the referring site, and a random session token that expires when you close the tab. No cookies. No name, no email, no IP address, no fingerprinting. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded at all.
Who processes it
MailerLite (Lithuania / EU) stores the email list and sends the emails. Supabase (EU region, Frankfurt) stores the anonymous visit counts. Cloudflare serves the site and, like every host, sees connection logs in passing. Payhip runs checkout and delivery; what you give Payhip is governed by Payhip's own policy, and I never see your payment details.
How to leave
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, in normal-sized type. One click. To have your address deleted outright rather than just unsubscribed, email [email protected] from that address and it is removed within seven days. You can ask what is held about you the same way and get a straight answer.
What is not done
No selling, renting, or sharing of your address. No advertising pixels. No retargeting. No countdown timers. No "are you sure?" when you unsubscribe. If any of that changes, the list is told before the change, not after.
Children
This site is written for adults. If you believe a child has given an address, email the address above and it is deleted.
