The postpartum fitness category is one of the most exploitative segments of the broader fitness industry. The "snap back" narrative is sold to vulnerable populations during one of the most physiologically and emotionally demanding life transitions of their lives. Celebrity transformation photos within weeks. Influencer content about "losing the baby weight in eight weeks." Programmes promising body restoration without acknowledging pelvic floor function, diastasis recti, hormonal recovery, or sleep deprivation. The result, for the trainees who buy it, is sometimes prolapse, sometimes urinary incontinence, sometimes a hernia, often shame, and almost always a compromised return-to-training arc that takes years to repair.
P08 is the opposite of that. The timeline is sixteen weeks. The end-point is not "pre-pregnancy you." The end-point is "a functional, strong, capable parent who can train sustainably for the next forty years." That is the actual goal.
